I’m sure you’re well aware that the stock market hasn’t been doing so hot in that time, with CNN reporting that the market had its worst first 100 days for any presidential term in the past 50 years.

Sooo, Donald Trump did what he usually does, and posted on Truth Social…blaming Joe Biden.

“This is Biden’s Stock Market, not Trump’s.”

Well, people were quick to point out that he was saying something completely different a year ago when Biden was actually president.

On Jan. 29, 2024, he took credit for the booming stock market, saying, “THIS IS THE TRUMP STOCK MARKET BECAUSE MY POLLS AGAINST BIDEN ARE SO GOOD THAT INVESTORS ARE PROJECTING THAT I WILL WIN, AND THAT WILL DRIVE THE MARKET UP.”

People are very much “Suuure, Jan” about it all.

“Welcome to the upside down,” one person said.

Another person called it a “Struggle bus tweet.”

And @MorningBrew captioned the comparison, “I’m playing both sides, so that I always come out on top.”
