Maib, the largest bank in Moldova, announces the decisions adopted by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on June 15, 2023.
The shareholders decided the distribution of dividends in the total amount of MDL 198.2 million, the equivalent of EUR 10 million (2022 average exchange rate: 19.9 MDL/EUR). The bank’s profit distribution policy related to 2023 was also voted, whereby a percentage between 30% and 50% is allocated to dividends payment, subject to approval by the National Bank of Moldova, and the share buyback of up to 5% of the bank’s outstanding shares (5,188,170 shares). The term of the buyback is up to one year from the adoption of the resolution. The buyback is subject to the approval of the National Bank of Moldova.

All resolutions presented at the AGM were passed with the requisite majority of two-thirds of the votes, holders of 76.7% of the votes were present at the meeting
