“Market attention is now firmly on the upcoming speech by the Federal Reserve Chair later this evening, which is expected to offer fresh cues on the trajectory of rate cuts. Additionally, President Trump’s speech after the Fed chairperson’s speech may add to volatility in the evening session,” said Deveya Gaglani, Senior Research Analyst – Commodities, Axis Securities.
US Federal Reserve is holding its annual symposium from August 21 to August 23 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Fed Chair Jerome Powell is scheduled to speak on the economic outlook and central bank’s policy framework on Friday. Investors are actively awaiting the speech, looking for cues regarding a potential rate cut.
