The Cleveland Cavaliers added former NBA Most Valuable Player James Harden in a big move before the trade deadline, and he finally debuted for his new team.
Cleveland sent their former All-Star guard Darius Garland to the Clippers in the deal, teaming Harden up with Donovan Mitchell for this season’s potential playoff run.
Harden had a successful debut with his new team, scoring 23 points in a 132-126 win against the Sacramento Kings. Mitchell led the Cavs with 35 points in the victory, and both he and Harden appeared on court for a postgame interview.
However, that post-game interview caught attention when musician Travis Scott unexpectedly appeared, crashed the interview, and grabbed the interviewer’s microphone to shout a statement.

“We goin to the yard!” Scott yelled before grabbing the mic and yelling, “What are we doing? DM, JH, what the f***?!”
Scott then quickly left the scene, with Mitchell and Harden amused by the remarks, as the interviewer shook off what just occurred.
She then continued the interview as Harden wiped his face with his towel and Mitchell chuckled over Scott’s on-court antics.
“This the most random video I seen in a while James Harden in a cavs jersey getting crashed by Travis Scott?” one X commenter said about the video.
“Cavs traded Garland for Harden and Travis Scott,” another X commenter joked.
“Harden just won his first Cavs game and Travis steals the show… priorities, man,” someone commented on X.
Other commenters suggested Scott might get kicked out, as he did in his failed attempt to work with WWE, or that they thought he was a Houston Rockets fan. Based on the video, he may have jumped on the bandwagon with the Cavaliers, who now feature a powerful combination of Harden and Mitchell.
In Saturday night’s win, the duo combined for 58 points, with teammate Jarrett Allen recording 29 points and 10 rebounds. In addition to 23 points, Harden had eight assists, two boards, and a steal.
The Cavs are currently 32-21 and in fourth place, trailing the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, and Detroit Pistons. However, they’re hoping that the addition of the former MVP will give them a boost in their quest to get to the NBA Finals and win that championship.
