Dow, S&P 500 Mark Best Weeks Since November as Markets Cheer Inflation Data

The stock market wrapped up its best week since early November as Wall Street breathed a sigh of relief in the wake of the latest inflation data.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 334 points, or 0.8%. The S&P 500 was up 1%. The Nasdaq Composite finished 1.5% higher. The S&P and Dow had their best weeks since Nov. 8.

Bond yields were up slightly on Friday, but the yield on the 2-year Treasury note was still down on the week to 4.27%. The 10-year yield fell to 4.61% this week. The 30-year yield was down to 4.84 this week.
