Ireland must beef up its embassies in Washington and Brussels to help ward off an Europe-US trade war, the taoiseach has said.

Speaking to the Business Post in Brussels, Simon Harris said Ireland can play a “constructive role” in seeking to de-escalate tensions between the two capitals ahead of Donald Trump’s return to the White House next month.
