Nike, Intel share losses contribute to Dow's 218-point fall

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Wednesday afternoon with shares of Nike and Intel facing the biggest drops for the price-weighted average. Shares of Nike and Intel have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow was most recently trading 218 points (0.6%) lower. Nike’s shares are down $3.46, or 2.8%, while those of Intel are off $0.74, or 2.5%, combining for an approximately 28-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Chevron Honeywell and Apple A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
