eBay Inc. stock rises Thursday, still underperforms market

Shares of eBay Inc. EBAY rallied 1.57% to $41.45 Thursday, on what proved to be an all-around positive trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX rising 1.76% to 3,960.28 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 1.17% to 32,246.55. eBay Inc. closed $18.94 short of its 52-week high ($60.39), which the company achieved on March 29th.
