Dow's 333-point climb highlighted by gains for Microsoft, Nike shares

DOW UPDATE

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Monday morning with shares of Microsoft and Nike leading the way for the blue-chip average. Shares of Microsoft and Nike have contributed around 25% of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow was most recently trading 333 points higher (1.0%). Microsoft’s shares have risen $11.14, or 4.2%, while those of Nike have climbed $3.17, or 2.6%, combining for an approximately 94-point boost for the Dow. Salesforce Intel and Apple are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
