Dow's 70-point fall led by losses for Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola shares

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Tuesday afternoon with shares of Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola facing the biggest drops for the index. Shares of Procter & Gamble PG, -3.34% and Coca-Cola KO, -2.89% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.59% was most recently trading 70 points lower (-0.2%). Procter & Gamble’s shares are off $4.15, or 3.0%, while those of Coca-Cola have dropped $1.77, or 2.9%, combining for a roughly 39-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walt Disney DIS, -2.04%, UnitedHealth UNH, -2.17%, and Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -1.40%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.59-point swing.
