Sacramento trades Dewayne Dedmon to Atlanta for Jabari Parker, Alex Len, Houston’s 2020 second round pick and Miami’s 2021 second

First Impressions

Vecenie: I like this for Sacramento. Essentially the Kings are using two of their many second-round picks to get off of what is likely to be $8 million guaranteed in the future by swapping Dedmon (he’s guaranteed for next year at $13.3 million followed by a $1 million guarantee in 2021-22) for Parker (who has a player option likely to be picked up at $6.5 million.
